Love it. Mama brought home carrots for dinner ~ It's very cute. Just ideas but, as you learn godot, you could try to code a global script (one that you load in the project => project settings => global) with few variables to track. Like distance (or timer) and point (you could randomly spawn carrots during the fall => eating them would give you extra points for example). Keep the good work !
I have few more background coming but not right now (I am currently working on an update for my room asset). Maybe by the end of the month/beginning of the year.
These are 100% free and as far as I am concerned you can use them as you please.
However, as your projet is commercial, I want to be 10,000% transparent with you. Even if it is "TMI".
Parts of these parallax were made using AI generated images as reference (it's an "old" project I worked on when I first discovered generative AI a year ago).
To give you the full process on that project so you can decide by yourself: 1) I drew the first outline of my parallax layers. 2) Instead of google image, I used AI generated image as reference/inspiration to rework my layers. 3) Then I mixed everything together, redrew/simplified shapes and colors and unified style.
I put AI tag on this work in itch system (I dont know how itch communicates this to users) for that reason.
On a creative point of view I thought it was a fun and interesting thing to do. But I always intended to distribute these asset for free so I never thought about things like licence and commercial use. I also do not have reference images anymore.
If you are still interested and want something in the same style, but 100% "AI free", I have another series of parallax coming soon (in the coming weeks), 100% from me and based on reference photos I took myself.
