Hi everyone,

A tentative of parallax using a photo of Paris as reference.

If you like it let me know, I have few other cities base scene already done (namely Seoul and Sidney).

You can also let me know if you want to get one city. If I have time and idea I'll have a shot at it.

As the other parallax, these works best for side shooter "a la R-type delta" or other game of the genre but I guess they could work in other types of game as well.

In this file you will find:
- 18 layers for the full parallax
I made a version with and without people on the river bank

I also re-uses 2 layers of previous parallax (one slightly modified, the other as it was). In the future I'll try to make it so more of my parallax can work together and be recombined to increase even more the possibility for you guys.

I saw some of you were using my parallax with heavy zoom so I increased the resolution just in case.

You can find the other parallax bellow

UPDATE COUNTRY SIDE / CITY You can find 3 additional parallax here: https://bongseng.itch.io/parallax-country-side-city-night-city-destroyed

UPDATE CONCEPT GAME I also built a game using these. As always it is something I put together quite fast. I did not encountered bugs but, if you have any, just let me know. https://bongseng.itch.io/el-bulleto-hello-rework

Hello, I am a solo game developer working with Unity. I would like to create a game using this asset and was wondering if you have plans to continue producing assets of similar quality to the already implemented ones, such as Paris and the forest. By the way, I’d also like to share the promotional video of my recently launched game. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/H-RW7H0YpY0.

I'll do more yes. I have draft for Seoul and Sydney (With opera house view). Will probably release them later this month if things are not too crazy at work.

(I checked your link. The game is not on itch ?)

Unfortunately, "Finding Chuchu" is not available on Itch.io. It is currently available on Steam, Google Play, and the App Store. If possible, I recommend improving the quality further and considering selling the assets as premium content. The assets are too good to be used for free. Also, it would be very helpful if the asset file names were listed in order, from long-range (lower numbers) to close-range (higher numbers). When applying the assets for Paris and Forest, I had to refer to the samples to understand the rendering order.

True. As a matter of fact I was thinking about this the other day (when I updated the paris parallax) but because no-one ever said anything I thought that numbering the layers was not something important. I'll re-organize them and re-upload files tomorrow.

The assets are free because it is something I am doing on the side (amateur level) and I don't want to either have pressure or a "customer/contractor" relationship (with deadline, expectations and so on). I do what I do, when I can.

Eventually (and I  am talking about maybe a year or 2 down the line, when (and if) I get much more content on that page) I might reconsider this position and work longer on the layers to sell them but so far they'll remain free.

In any case, thank you for your comment and suggestion. It's nice to see when people appreciate the work.
